On Saturday, October 19, 2019, the Changemaker Ignite Session will convene residents, funders, partners, organizations, businesses, and elected officials together to begin to shape a plan to form the first Regional Community Health Improvement Plan for Cass, Douglas, Pottawattamie and Sarpy Counties. Childcare and a light breakfast will be provided.

SARPY/CASS BABY CAFE

Certified lactation staff and WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselors at the Sarpy/Cass Health Department offer a weekly Baby Cafe at our office in Papillion.  This free resource for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers includes support from specifically-trained staff, opportunities to share experiences and make friends, and refreshments, comfortable seating, and open-forum discussions.  The Sarpy/Cass Baby Cafe also offers a fun play area for accompanying toddlers.

The Sarpy/Cass Health Department has reported a confirmed case of rabies in a bat found in Sarpy County, the first animal this year to test positive for rabies in Sarpy or Cass County.  See press release here.
